Beautiful Paducah, Paducah Main Street, and Wildhair Studios' Rock Shop are organizing the X Marks the Spot: Paducah Eclipse Festival which will be April 7 and April 8 in downtown Paducah. This will be a street fair with a variety of vendors, programs, activities, and more.
The event will be on Broadway from 4th Street to the riverfront while maintaining through traffic at 3rd Street. Market House Square and Water Street between Kentucky and Jefferson will be closed to traffic.

- Sunday, April 7, 12 until 9 p.m.
- Monday, April 8, 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.
The eclipse-driven community street fair will include elements of science/astronomy, gastronomy, astrology, education, art, and entertainment. With science demonstrations and workshops with Jason Lindsay aka Mr. Science from Hooked on Science, demonstrations by the Inland Waterways Museum, and eclipse art activities for adults and children. Plus there will be local artists who will be creating during the entirety of the event, designated celestial-themed education/reading stations, yoga and meditation stations, guided star gazing, a psychic fair, retail/shopping vendors, food/drink, live music, and activities for all ages.
