2024 Christmas Cards in the Park

In addition to the Christmas in the Park light display sponsored by Paducah Power System, organizations in Paducah and McCracken County can place replicas of large greeting cards in Noble Park.

The Christmas Cards in the Park tradition involves the placement of brightly decorated greeting cards, no larger than 4 feet wide by 8 feet high. The cards should be designed to be displayed at the 8 feet high and 4 feet wide position. The Paducah Parks & Recreation Department will provide the posts to set up the cards, the personnel to install them, and lighting. The card must be made of metal alucabond.

Paducah Parks and Recreation only holds 25 spaces for replica Christmas cards.  To obtain a space, organizations must complete an application form and submit payment to Paducah Parks and Recreation office located inside the Robert Cherry Civic Center at 2701 Park Avenue, or email to parkinfopaducahky.gov(link sends e-mail) on or before the deadline. Each Christmas Card spot is $25 + tax. Parks & Recreation will begin accepting applications on October 1, 2024 at 8 a.m. Deadline to submit an application is October 31 at 12 p.m. However spots are limited and tend to fill up fast. Once approved, it is the responsibility of the organization to coordinate a drop off time for their Christmas Card no later than Tuesday, November 12, otherwise they will forfeit their reserved spot. Cards must be dropped off at the former Parks & Recreation Department Office at 1400 HC Mathis Drive.

After the Christmas event, cards must be picked up from the 1400 HC Mathis Drive location no later than January 13, 2025. Christmas cards will not be stored past that date.
